I solemnly pledge that as a trainee of the ITI, I shall always endevour to take with full devotion the training that will be imparted to me and strive consistently to become the best Craftsman in my trade.I further pledge not to commit anything unworthy of a trainee of the ITI or anything that will interfere with its orderly working nor contribute towards any act of indiscipline.I agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations which are in force now or those may be made hereafter for the administration of the ITI.

To ensure a steady flow of skilled manpower/workforce in different trades for the domestic industry, to raise quantitatively and qualitatively the industrial production by systematic training, to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable training, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of the younger generation.
